Hi, I'm Jan Baker. In 1978, I moved from my native Missouri to New Mexico, to be closer to my parents and the mountains. I knew from visiting the West in my youth, that someday I would live there---I was smitten with the beauty, power and majesty of the mountains. Having lived in New Mexico for this long, I'm practically a native. I cannot imagine living in a place where there is no red or green chile! And I would very much miss seeing the Sandias turn pink at sunset.

In 1979, I became a New Mexico Real Estate Licensee, now known as an Associate Broker and Realtor. After living in Rio Rancho, I moved to beautiful Placitas in 1997 and was a resident here for 20 years. During that time, I was involved in some 60 real estate transactions. My real estate experience is not limited to the Placitas area. Over the years, I have listed and sold properties and constructed custom homes in Placitas and in the Greater Albuquerque Area including Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, High Desert, and Edgewood.
